    This is padauk (a difficult wood to photograph) with stabilized burl wedge, stainless washers. In view of its age, I did as little as possible to the blade to bring it up to a nice shine, so there's still a little pitting here and there.

    This blade's been in my queue for a long time, and I'm glad I finally got it finished and into the rotation.

    Im not crazy about wood scales, but these look great. Match the blade shape nice. Good work.

    The blade looks great and I know paduak looks 10x nicer in person than any photo can capture.
