15/16 smiling razor in purpleheart
I made this razor as one of my unfinished blades. When the deal fell through, I decided to finish it myself to try out my new polishing compounds. I had some purpleheart and bone still lying around so I decided to just make a razor. The shape was inspired by our logo, with filework added to it. It was made from O2 which is my favorite steel. It is quarter hollow and shaves like a dream.
Also notice that even though this is a quarter hollow and it is shaveready, the bevels are so narrow that you almost can't see them.
That is how the bevel should be on a new razor.
Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
