My only suggestion is to use a darker background in your light box. Those shiny blades almost disappear in your pics.Member Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club, participant SE Asia War Games 1972-1973. The oath I swore has no statute of limitation.

Thanks, that's very interesting. I've never managed to get my hands on a blade like this but I suspected they would be thicker than the often used 1/4" stock.
Were these huge razors primarily made for export to the states? I can't recall ever seeing one come up for sale here.Last edited by mikew; 04-23-2014 at 06:44 AM.

Brad I like what you did a lot!
I have to agree with Wullie, since the blades loose the details, or maybe a bit less of a flash or even a HDR if you have the camera on the stand (since it can be fairly hard to make an exposure for the black and shiny silver blade together)

Very fine work Brad, I really like the blue and green G10 lined wedge with the CF. They are all excellently finished.
