Default 8/8 Damascus with Custom Point

    Gents,

Here it the latest Boxer off the bench. The steel is a piece of Mike Blue's Damascus. The scales are Ivory Paper Micarta, the pins are nickel silver with brass and stainless washers.

I say "Custom Point" because it does really fit into any of the normal point type categories.

    Anyway, thanks for looking.

    Cheers,
    Stu

Looks like a Spanish barbers notch?
A bit more hook would have been a bottle opener lol
Looks awesome love the Damascus pattern and the notched wedge, very nice in deed with a monkey tail to finish it off
What the size is it and do you have shot of the complete open blade?
Is there a site for the Damascus steel blade?
    Saved,
    to shave another day.

Sorry, here is a picture of the open blade.

Not sure what you mean by site for the Damascus steel blade.

The steel was made by Mike blue who is our resident metallurgist
He did have a website but the best way to contact him is just via PM.
I wouldn't buy from anyone else.

I love the pinning Stu, that's real craftsmanship. I think you showed us this blade at an early stage at the meet-up in March - was that the one? I remember you showing us at least one drilled blade.

Beautiful piece of steel wrapped in good looking scales. I really like the way you notched the spacer. Sweet.
