Strange...one of us does not have bakelite and i'm begining to think it's me)...the material i have sands with a dark green dust jus as the one in the pictures...it's a pain to work with (in terms of abrasion resistance)and does not buff to a glossy finish...i got it from a friend who was convinced it's bakelite....ty for the pics...seeing is beliving

Huh! Green eh'. Now you got me curious.
I'd love to take a crack at it just to see what it is. I'm guessing at one point it had a shine.
