The spine work is perfect. How does it balance given the super light weight of CF?

It depends on what you consider super-lightweight I generally make scales from 1/8" thick exotic hardwoods, and I can balance those with the wedges nicely. This CF laminate (2,5mm thick) is almost as heavy as those hardwoods I use, with the recon stone wedge it makes for a nice balance. I am sure the long tail also helps with this a lot, it would be much harder to have a nice balance with a small stubby tail.
