    Default Otto Fromm swap

Had a Fromm Model 72 for a while. Came across a nice set of scales on a ratty "Red Head" .
The plan was set. Just swap the scales, clean up the blade and call it done.
Sanded/polished the blade and used a factory type finish with polished spine/shaft/tail.
The scales are pretty but the bolsters were partially hidden under a quite deep layer of plastic. The photos of before and after is after I carved quite a bit away. And it's still burried!
    It came out OK.
I just have a weakness for fancy bolsters.
Now if I'd just remember to clean off the compound before photos, this would look better.
But it'll shave just fine regardless. It all comes out in the wash.
