A more Alien alien :)
I started this one after my first alien. I decided that an alien razor should have jimps and more curves, rather than more notches. 8/8 O2 blade in kirinite scales and glow in the dark spacer. I also start to prefer making smiling razors. Much more fun to make.

Beautiful razor, I am really liking the blade-tang-grip area. Great design and craftsmanship.

thanks Charlie. Aside from the hollow grinding, that is the part I spent most of the time on. The jimps were made with a square file, rather than a triangular file. This makes the opening between them wider. And after HT I used greasless 80 grit polishing compound to clean the scale from in between the scales. This also rounded the edges of the jimps, resulting in the jimps you see.

That is a perfect combination of steel meets scales and the scale pattern just ties it together perfectly. Very well done!

Thanked: 1936My gosh Bruno, what in the world are you doing to your reputation? It's called a straight razor, not a curved razor! Its got a hole in it, some strange psychedelic scales...jesh!
Now that that silly stuff is out of the way, I really, really, like it man. The main thing I like about it is that it looks like it would function very well & feel good in the hand. I really like an edge that is about 6cm versus 7.5-8cm ling as they just work better for me. Just shaved with a longer razor this morning and I seem to touch myself with them once during a shave. This time it was the top of the ear dang it. You knocked it out of the park Bruno, it all came together a working piece of art.Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Thank you and God Bless, Scott
