    Default "Americana" on a Torrey

Just can't find the before photos but this one wasn't too bad. I just love the scales. They were quite worn so I carved in some depth where it was missing , polished them up and added some gold.
Just a terrific little razor with some Americana in the form of a Department Store ( for our non States friends) Gimbles was a famous Dept. store in NYC. and ran from 1887 to 1987.
    Just think this is fun.
I used this along with the Bennet I just posted. Old and new.
They were both great for different reasons.

I'm just having too much fun.

Nice! Very nice! Torreys are great shavers, are very good quality and of course made in the good ol' US of A. I have a couple, a round point and a square point, both fine shavers. Bought the 6/8 round point as a NOS (never been hone until I got it) that came with original box and paper work.
