Plumacher Reborn
I tried to find a pic of this razor before I sent it off to Tarkus. Let me describe it like this: the cheapest plastic pink scales imaginable. Think of the razor as a razor that you won at a county fair for knocking down wooden milk bottles (man, this will leave out a lot of members!). Pink, but you know what if they would have been sound I would have left them on the razor for historical purposes, but they were not. So up steps Darl and here are some pics of his professional work even though he does this for 'funzies.'
What might not be apparent from the pics is the gradient color of the horn from dark at the lead wedge to light at the pivot pin....this razor was truly transformed. I couldn't be happier.......the dude can scale and pin a blade!"Call me Ishmael"

Just Foolin'
Will hone it this weekend and post results.....this is the smallest razor in my quiver, petite even....so I am really looking forward to the shave to contrast with some of my larger blades.

I am such a sucker for three-pin scales! And those collars are absolute understated elegance!
Oh...and those original scales:When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.

Very well-done. The third pin gives a sturdy, tight look! Tarkus does some precise work, I ought to know! Betcha you will like the shave as you get it honed up. I have never really seen a blade like that!
Enjoy!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

The shave: precise....very different from a hollow grind but light and very maneuverable. Would guess someone with a mustache/goat, would like this razor for those characteristics. Would be perfect for a pencil thin mustache! I did find it difficult to strop at first as I adjusted to the weight.......In short, this is a fun razor.
