Ha! I have made 2 out of Elk Antler. It looks and acts just like Bone. Not horn.
Two different animals, pardon the pun!

On a serious note, those are lovely blades and beautiful restores, really like the scale work, I'm surprised I like the one in Post #4 as much as I do...quite stunning and planted a seed of an idea - thanks!

Just realized, someone must have written Wade and Butcher more than three times, I'm here!
Well phrank, I think it mustve worked because there were 3 of them! No need to say it 3 times anymore, just showcase at least 3 in one thread and it has the same effect!

    Boys!
Just be glad I didn't post the 17 done so far. Let alone that many + waiting in my "to do" pile.

Mark, you can truly do magic!

They are all typical of your fantastic work, but the 3rd is another example of some of your top work.

I can't even envision some of the things I have seen you accomplish.

    Please keep amazing me!

Complements come easier when they are true!

... by the way you really have the humble thing nailed. I don't think you could boast if you tried. Seriously

Sorry for the delay but I had some deadlines to meet.
These were sound asleep but I got them up for some photos. Told them you wanted to see them. They " smiled"! None of them frowned,, but some just kept a straight face!

I didn't clean them off as you can see a coating of Rem-Oil on the surface along with some smudges. That's why they look a bit funky. I'm just putting them back to bed anyway.
But with a little imagination (read, squint ) you can see my progression.

I was off a bit in my count. There are more shave ready than I guessed at. But there are still a few that seem to have wandered away. Must be hiding from me in the bathroom cabinet, the hallway shelf, or just went to play with all the others. They'll show up. My favorites are the MOP , the 9/8 and the Gentleman's Razor with the shoulderless blade. Don't tell the others I said that.

The to-do pile still holds some promise. Some are a little crusty. Aren't all the blades I play with that way? But there are still some Bow razors in there, 3 or 4 medium hollow grinds, wedges. I know more of these will show up as well.

I'm just gonna cry, and be done with it. I think I'm living in a science fiction world where I can nave anything I want except it's always just a mile ahead and $100 short. A treadmill life. That settles it, I am crying.
