Thanked: 0Thanks for the help
Hi everyone, I had a school art project that involves making a handle for a current object. I like straight razor shaving so I decided to do this. I read posts here that helped me so I wanted to give back by sharing my completed work. This is my first time restoring so I expect a lot of harsh words lol.
I bought the blades from ebay and they were out of shape. The brass is full of finger prints so its not showing its full polish.
Please remember that these are mainly art pieces. If I did anything wrong I'll accept the criticisms.

Welcome to SRP.
No harsh words from me
Sure, the one with the traditional scales might be a bit on the chunky side, but I have a few of them myself
The other one might not be the most practical, but from the pictures you did fine work on it.
No, good on you I'd say.
Now to the important question, how do they shave?Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Thanked: 0They shave like there's a colony of fire ants on my face. I haven't gotten them professionally sharpened yet. And as for the chunky-ness, I was scared the pieces might break in half. But now that I have experience I trust that I can go thinner without any problems.

Well done for a first run zoro,
I really like the styling on the second one! (don't know about function but I like the form)
Did you get down to clean steel on the bevels? It is just Whisker Whacking
Relax and Enjoy!

I like the spike patern but I bet that large brass wedge lets you know where it is, being a bit heavy
the pinning looks pretty good too
the blades loks to have come out very well on the smaller one
job well done
BTW how old are you if it was a scool art project ?
great to see young lads getting into wet shaving earlySaved,
to shave another day.
