Thread: Practice Run

I'd like to make a razor from scratch, but since I have never made one before I thought that I'd start off with a repair. So I took an old razor that I had laying around, removed the scales, re-ground the blade and carved a one-piece handle out of Lignum vitae. I think all said and done it took about three hours. It's not perfect and I think that I can do better. However, it's a start and was a learning experience. Sorry for the poor quality picture.
