    Default Wostenholm Non-IXL wedge

    Pretty self explanatory on the razor. I finished with 600 grit greaseless and made scales out of cottonwood with an ebony wedge and a CA finish. Pictures aren't the best nor the worst. I just need to get it honed up now!

    I don't recall ever seeing cottonwood used for anything...where I grew up, folks just cussed the tree for destroying sewer lines... but that's gorgeous!

    I thought non-IXL razors were made by Joseph Allen as a play on Wostenholm's IXL stamp.
