Three old english razors, back from the grave.
So I started out with these three razors that my buddy found me at the flea market for 25$.
Thomas Turner Hollow Ground 5/8
George Butler Shakespeare 6/8 (now ground to 5/8)
Wade and Butcher Fine India Steel 7/8
the Thomas Tuner i rescaled in Juma ivory snake, horn wedge, pinned with nickel.
the George Butler i rescaled in Kirinite, original wedge, pinned with nickel.
the edge was repaired by Val at The Gentleman's Den. Did a gorgeous job.
the Wade and Butcher was restored entirely by Val at The Gentleman's Den.
rescaled in kirinite, kirinite wedge, pinned with cat's eye hardware.

Great looking razors, I especially like the cat's eye hardware.
Is there any difference pinning these compared to using washers.RickyB

I have used those washers and its super easy, all you need is a jewelers file, small hammer, dykes, and a smooth hunk of steel to use as an anvil. The outside washers are decorative mainly, under them is a grommet that does most of the holding power. My washers came with a small plate to help file the pin down to the correct t height before peening.
