Nocturnal razor... black as midnight
For this project, my only requirement was to make something that was unlike any other razor. Not an easy task, considering that of course most things have been done before. My first decision was to angle the blade upwards, so that it would be more convenient for shaving with the toe leading. The blade is 8/8.
The shape of the tang was something that came out naturally as soon as I decided to let the tang start above the spine instead of at the shoulder. Once I had the blade shape, I figured that to make it stand out, I would forgeweld stainless inserts following the shape of the tang. And with stainless inserts, I would etch the entire blade black. One of the nice things of O2 is that it etches black as midnight.
With that design made, I decided to leave the tail rounded but otherwise unremarkable, and not make any other notches or filework. It is very easy to add too much bling to a razor. In the end, I am very happy with how this turned out. I love it especially because it was my own design from beginning to the end, and pretty different from what's already out there. This razor is a creature of the night, like myself

My God Bruno! If I didn't know for certain that the Devil doesn't shave I would have thought he commissioned this dark beauty. I would hope that this going in your personal, daily use. I would think that the scales would have to be either equally black, shockingly white or some extremely bright color to make it look most evil. I like it.

And to think I had no idea what you were coming up with till it was made. Thanks for the treasure. Tc“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

I really like the Spanish point and the smile. Other than that, I think it beautifully executed, but not my cup of tea.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
