ATOR in Midnight acrylic
An ERN Ator has been high on my must have list for a long time, and a few months ago I finally found one in a local Antique store.
One of the scales was broken at the wedge end, but they weren't the originals anyway.
I printed out a scale template from the PDF file that's on the WIKI page somewhere and made a new set in midnight acrylic that should be very close to the original Ator shape.
The wedge is cow bone, S/Steel washers on Nickel Silver pins
The blade was hand sanded to a near mirror finish.

Nice job on the blade and the scales. That's a neat acrylic.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Nice work getting the shape right for an Ator. That swoop is necessary for that blade, I think!

That's one handsome razor... nice work!
What progression did you use for sanding the blade?When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.

Awesome restore Grant, the finished razor is spectacular. I liked your little hammer so much, I bought one at a roadside sale the other day, just so I could polish it up like you do.
