Thank You! Babur has been around a long time in Germany. Makes and sells cat's-eyes. domes, etc. All his fancy outer collars come with some of these for the inside of them.He provides collars, pins, brass spacers, and tools/photo instructions. They work handsomely to keep the peening load off the scale and are made of brass (silver ones are plated). Being brass, the pins will not sieze in them as-peening. I use them a lot and really like them. He has begun to sell oversized and undersized ones lately. Babur can be found on EBay under 'cut throat razor pins'.
Thanks! Yah, Jimmy! Nice steel/grind in these!
Thanks! I scribbled the underside of the broken scale half with an engraver, some pin scratches, and tried a bunch of stuff.
Had to be done!Last edited by sharptonn; 07-16-2014 at 02:22 AM.

Very noice Bruce .

Thank you and by the way it turned out excellent IMO.What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
