Thread: restored 6/8 Thiers Issard Special Coiffeur

This is one piece of Special Coiffeur (engraving was very very faded when I started working on it), that was completly restored by me (except pinning and spacer).

Unfortunately, I don't have any before photos anymore.

The blade was cleaned, and then I started making some appropriate scales for this beauty.

yes, exactly, wood!

CA finished quilted maple wood.

Some nice black buffalo horn spacer and some nice pinning to it - and here it is.

This was the first SR that I got a very decent shave with, even if the honing was done by me. It is far from being a good honing, but this one was fine
