    Default Filly Doble Dwarf.

    Well here's a razor I sold sometime back to a friend in the UK, he always raved about the razor and told me it was without equal in his small stable of razors, now comes the bad news he contacted me last week and told me he had dropped the razor on the bathroom floor there was a huge chip plus a crack about an half a inch from the toe gutted I told him bin job, so he sent me the razor and said keep the scales for a future restore fare play a very kind gesture indeed, well the razor arrived and I had a bit of time on my hands and nothing to lose so what the hell lets grind the razor back by 3/4 of an inch and cut the scales back get rid of the existing pivot holes re-drill and reshape the scales new pins and washers plus internal washers re-honed all round a pleasing outcome, I've placed it along side my Filarmonica Especial to give you a sense of scale the new blade length is 2 1/4 inches.

    Beautiful work, Jamie. I would be the owner will like the short length. They seem to do a great job. For me, better than anything longer than 3".

    I have several of those "saves", they are fun to rescue as well as use. Great job.

    Jamie, As has been already said Very Nice Save!

    If we really look at the art we practice it's an extension of the 'Green Movement' I recorded several children's songs for when my grand kids are here to listen to and one of them has the theme and words;

    "Reduce Recycle Reuse" I think that you and many others of us have fulfilled that!
