    Gentlemen,

This morning the Bob Allman custom razor had its premiere in my humble shave den — and it was a fantastic hit. What a delicious razor. The blade is a 7/8 in Spanish point; the scales are wood, a couple different types, I think — Bob explained it to be, but I am having a senior moment and forget.

What is remarkable about this razor is its balance in my hands: Perfect. The razor tucks in my hands, left and right, as if designed for me — oh, Bob did design and make the razor for me, didn't he? It is not a very heavy razor, which is a blessing for my arthritic hands.

The blade is also the perfect size for me: a 7/8. I am slowly shuffling away from the 8/8 blade, as I find it too big and bulky for my small hands and Hollywood face. My Max Sprecher 8/8 is an exception. I don't know what Max did to it, but that blade is another perfect one for me, for both hands, and I love the remarkable shave — pure silk.

The edge on my Bob Allman custom is celestial: it's like an angel's wings slicing through soft clouds. Good show, Bob. Thank you for producing a work of art for moi.

It already is, and it will be coming up in about three weeks, if not sooner. Yes, it's a sweet razor.
