Not bad for 10 bucks
Had a little chip out of the toe:
Scales were UGLY looking:
Re-shaped the toe and a bit of cleaning:
Lil more cleaning and a neatsfoot bath:

Hey Chev, that's great work Sir !!....Judging from the second photo, I thought the scales were toast
Just a thought, have you considered buying some liquid gold leaf (or whatever it's called) and applying it
to that rather striking stamp ?....I've never done it myself, but that eagle would look cool restored !!
