11 and 12 of 14
Here we go again! I have completed two more toward the end of two 7-day sets, one of American-made blades, from all different makers, with barber's notches in vintage MOP scales and one set featuring all different old Henckels grinds in vintage carved bone scales.
The last entry can be viewed here: http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...9-10-14-a.html . Previous pairs can be viewed by clicking on links at the beginning of each thread, back to the beginning.
For the American Pearl set, a Mayher and Grosh from Toledo, Ohio has been added and the Henckels Bone set is enhanced by an old #52.
Good thing I am taking my time. As I get them all out, I tend to get a bit crosseyed!
Two more left and the interior of the boxes will be dealt with. It will probably be cold weather as I get around to that!
Then, I will be holed-up honing these things all winter!
Thanks for looking!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Tom, you need an appreciative male descendant to will all those razors to. Albeit I am a bunch of years your senior, but the fact that I plan to live to at least 100 should not deter you from adopting me and placing me prominently in your will. I promise to care for them, oil them every year. Speak to them with kind words about their rescuer and benefactor on a monthly schedule. They will know for naught and I will allow conjugal visits between them and make sure that their shavette offspring find good homes.
