Thread: Finally found a Dovo of my own...

Hey guys,
Usually the dovo blades are out of my price range on eBay, but this seller mislabeled it as "dova" and instead of "Wald" wrote "walden" so I think it got a little less attention....
Just received it yesterday and it's better than it appeared in the auction photos. I love the faux tortoise shell scales. I think it's a pre Franz Bracht razor, since it says "Wald". I'm considering asking one of the talented restorers here to tumble it for me to get it beautifully shiny again, but I am unsure whether it has too much spine wear to make it worthwhile. Any opinions?

Unless I'm missing something obvious, spine wear is not going to be an issue with this

Excellent find on a great razor that should clean up and hone well. I have won many an eBay auction because of the seller not knowing what it was they were selling. That is why when I am looking for an item I will use several different permutations and misspellings of the items name in the search function.Damn, I just gave away my secret

Yes, seems to be more and more difficult to land good deals on razors on eBay these days.....pretty much have to depend on seller mistakes.
