    Default An Ivory Hart

Just a rescale. This came in the faux Ivory plastic scales and bolt arrangement. Well it was decided to clean it up a bit and go with a more traditional look. I shimmed the hole in the tang so I could use more traditional pins.
Did the doubles on the wedge end and as most Ivory scales will be, didn't use washers. A black horn wedge compliments the overall black/white theme.
Personally I think it transformed the overall look of the razor. Then too I tend to favor "old school". A little cleaner and a bit more elegant.

Those are very classy scales. The black horn with the ivory looks fantastic!

Does the blade say, " Not A Replica"?

+1, I can really see the grain of the ivory in the photos. How ivory can be pinned, collarless no less, without cracking it is beyond me. Real nice.

Ivory cut in the proper manner (as above) is alot tougher than people realize.

Hart should pay attention to the way you finished that razor.

I've never been a fan of the way Hart does their scales. Those screws always looked to me like they weren't quite finished putting the razor together.

That razor is beautifully complete now.
