Default Hammer finish fixed handle razor

This is another hammer finish fixed handle razor. I have a couple of different designs in the works, with hammer finish and normal polish. Aside from the fact that they look nice, I think it's good forging practice to hammer out different designs. I know how the steel should move, but when you've hammered out a couple of things, there is a big difference between theory and reality

Anyway, it's 8/8, quarter to half hollow, on a merantie wood stand.

Utilitarian at its best. Thumbs up here.

I really like it. As someone that has pounded some steel I am always impressed with the work coming out of your forge.

I think I am starting to like rugged looking razors. Lewis makes done nice ones as well.

    You got that right.

It is fun and satisfying to make it conform to your wishes when it's hot.

What diameter wheel are you using on your grinder?

I love the tiny smile and just rounded square point. Looks like an amazing shaver.
