Made some NEW Horn scales for it and did some clean up:
Pitted pretty bad so took what I could off and kept as much etching as I could:

Honed it up with THREE pieces of tape on Chosera 1k...
Two pieces from here on out... Norton 4k & 8k finished with Naniwa 12k.

Brookes & Crookes still sounds like a C&W band to me.

They made good razors and you did a nice save on that one!

Boy did this thing sharpen up NICE!
    BUTTERY SMOOTH shave also...
I might have to keep an eye out for more of these.

    On second thought...
NEVER MIND... Nobody should get these...
They are Horrible shavers and not worth the time to restore them.

    (HA! MORE FOR ME!)

Too late. B & C is on my radar.

Yeah, those are about like the Heiffor Army razors . Total bricks. Still, they shave smoooth!
I wondered what you would do with that. It was plenty rough! Your minimalist restoration is not lost on some of us.
It is what it was. What it is supposed to be. Very Nice! Enjoy!

Thanks... I try and do as much as the razor tells me. Sometimes a bit of age to these looks better than a full mirror polish. Just my opinion though...

Nothing wrong with setting a difficult bevel with 3 strips of tape. You do what you have to to get things started.

    That's s fine-looking shaver.
