Eye candy
I'm back! I've been inactive, but haven't been lazy either. Mainly taking my education seriously, what with graduation coming up in December.
I made a few brushes, restored a few razors and am proud to announce to be the new official honer for a Dutch webshop (Manandshaving.nl | scheren, scheerproducten, huidverzorging mannen) because their previous honer felt an urge to travel around the globe. The owner of the webshop is very nice and I'll mainly be honing new razors with factory edges.
I'll post all of my recent endeavours in the next few posts. I bought a decent flash light for my camera and while the pics are still not close to professional ones, I'm quite pleased
29 mm silvertip brush in American nut (Amerikaans noten, how does this translate?). My own, and I love it.
(I'm practising burning a Scheerlijk logo)
Two brushes in camphor. The first is for a colleague, 29 mm silvertip, the second has been for sale for a while but nobody seems to really want it
More stuff in the next postI want a lather whip

Colibri 7/8", just polished the blade and fitted it with American nut to match my brush.
Redid my GB anchor 9/8". It had rosewood scales (now fitted on another blade in the next post) that were too light. This time I used blonde horn taken directly from a cow horn, with an ebony wedge. Some small mistakes, but the balance is finally there!

Ludwich Bayer, some 5/8" I guess, wonderful shaver in rosewood that was originally for the GB anchor above. That explains the gap between the toe of the blade and the wedge, which I'd otherwise not leave.
And I almost forgot about this brush in bubinga I made for someone, who made it a gift to her father. She asked me for a gift wrap, and having a reputation for being no good at those things, I made something rather peculiar, but it worked.
Phone pics, because I lent my camera to my girlfriend's mom.

The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
