mappin brothers restore in mokume
mappin brothers in mokume. the blade had a bad regrind by a previous owner and needed a complete workover. touched up the whole blade as light as I could go to just get below the worst regrind marks then all hand sading up to 2000 grit wet/dry and hand polished. the mokume scales got the same treatment. nice little shaver once again!

Very nice! Mappin's are such great shavers, and that looks to be a real treat to shave with. Love that blade profile!
