Default dubl duck 9/16 Wonderedge resto

Well, it's been awhile, but some time ago my mother-in-law presented me with my wife's grandfather's razors. One of them was a badly rusted Pearlduck Inc. dubl duck Wonderedge 9/16. Can't say it's back to 100%, but we'll see how she shaves...

I LOVE the design on the tang on those - nice job! Very serviceable. Should be a good shave - I've loved all my Dubl's!

    Looks good!

    They shave like a duck....AWESOME!
They seem to be a tad harder to hone though.

Very nice! Now that's a neat gift! I just lost out on one very similar on ebay... having bidders remorse for not going higher now

It's such a paper-thin full-hollow grind, it rings when I shave. It's marked "9/16" on its box, but at the spike point, it's as wide as my Dovo 5/8". Clearly, it's tapered down to the heel at about 4/8", so I guess they measure in the middle and split the difference.
It shaves - not great for my face, but I don't do as well with spike points anyway. My Dovo Inox Ebenholz and C-MON Cadillac seem to be the best shavers for me.

You could mute the point. I have a couple of these and they shave great. Requires their own technique compared to a big ole W&B . A lot lighter touch I would say.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
