    Cool If you think your 10/8 custom razor was wide, think again...

    Two vintage Meisterstücke (masterpiece in the German sense of the word, ie an apprentice's practical examination for the master's certificate). The bottom one has new custom scales, too. A 7/8 Aust for comparison...

    What is the reasoning behind requiring such a "over sized " final exam.

    Actually they were advertizing pces,Have seen Henckels Razors 4 ft long,they hung on the walls of cutlery shops.along with giant scissors and kitchin knives.

    Do a search on 23/8. It is no advertising piece, and I've shaved with it (rather carefully).
