No worries, John! With Phrank being Canadian and all it means.......Almost nothing!
Or does it? The French and Canadians have traditionally been allied with the U.S.
To me, it's all-American. I see Burrell as the last of the Case Family razor producers. He married one of WR's daughters. Cranked up and spit out tons of knives, razors, and other surgical items for the war effort during WWII alongside of Carl Monkhouse doing same from the same building in Ellicottville.
All to support our country at a time when patriotism was forefront.
To me, It exudes that period of my country and the advancements made during that period of strife.
I would be willing to bet that other countries never improved upon razors during WWII. Just cranked out what was there. In New York, two men were reinventing American grinds to perfection. Never saw an advertisement for a Top-Flight razor. Nor a Carl Monkhouse Ellicottville razor. Perhaps there were none? Only the best! JMOLast edited by sharptonn; 11-07-2014 at 05:06 AM.
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
