    Default J.Wiss & Sons Newark, N.J.

I've had this one for awhile. Finally decided to do something with it. A 6/8 blade with Comet acrylic scales and a brass wedge. Brass pins and collars. The brass wedge was fun to make flat (NOT). A nice shave. I don't see this maker's name very often.

Turned out great! I have a WISS square point, not nearly as nice as this one.

Congrats on a really pretty set of scales. The razor looks great.

    How does it shave?

Wonderful shave. A thicker spine like some of the Torrey's so it has a little weight to it. I really like American steel.

That is a very nice job of work on a great piece of steel!
Wiss was a pre-eminent blade maker of all types of shears, scissors, etc. Their steel forging and tempering was of the finest. You will enjoy that razor for a looong time!
    Congratulations!
