Black and a little blonde
I received this Noble Price (brilliant name) Rabinor Tagore in the mail a few days ago. Yesterday, I needed a day to myself, because my girlfriend has broken up with me two weeks ago - after 4 good years - and we agreed she'll get the house where we lived for almost 3 years. I get to live here until I find a job and new house after my graduation in December, then I'll have to move out. Those two lines summarise what feels like a hundred momentous things stuffed into too little time, hence the need to take a day off, me-time.
Well, me-time included some very light sanding, polishing and a bit of ebony, which got a lot of sanding and polishing. Without further ado.
She's up for duty tomorrow. I recently had my first coticule success, which I'll post in the honing forum in a bit, and I tried to replicate it on this razor. We'll see how that worked out
Thanks for watching.I want a lather whip

Hi Laurens,
firstly, sorry about your breakup but your me-time has been very productive :-). I think you have a razor that commemorates the great Indian writer Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941). Whether it was made in Sheffield, Solingen, or even possibly in India, is one for the scholars to sort out. Neil Miller may have an idea.

I feel your pain I think we have all been there from time to time, it sucks but me make it. My just cheated on me(with her best friend) then said we were thru. It was one of the best things that has ever happened to me, if it had not happened I would not now be married to the best woman I have ever met.
Any way your scales are incredible looking I am very jealous, wish I had the skill or nerve to make a set. It's a beautiful day somewhere I hope!

I feel for you Laurens - I've been there as well.
I remember I felt empty, lonely, and like my whole life had been shattered coldly and callously for something I didn't understand. I also felt anger, grief, a huge sense of loss, and many other emotions that constantly raced through my head.
Take the time you need to process it in your mind, the pain is part of the process. Eventually, I came to peace with it, and realized it was the right decision, and deep down I had known it, for me at least.
If anything I'd pass on to you is to remember that this will pass, it is the way it is, and acceptance is a big way of coming to peace with it.
All the best.

Sorry about the relationship, look at it as opportunity to learn, and grow as a person. The next relationship will benefit from it.CHRIS

i know this is easy to say, but think of it as an opportunity to meet a woman that you wont want to date for 4 years. instead, meet a woman that you'd marry after one year.
i've been down that road.
that being said, you did a good job on those scales.instagram - @suckerpunch_daycare
