Stop me! Before I stripe again!
I restored an old Geneva and a Top Flight a while back in vintage striped scales, so now I have just completed a few more to keep them company in some somewhat 'different' stripes. A nice Geneva blade in the black and white striped scales and an old Ellicotteville Blackie CMon in the red, white, and blue. Pinned the Geneva collarless as his brother was done, the CMon in vintage silver collars as his Ellicotteville brother was pinned.
Pretty 'striped out' now (they make me dizzy!) so I will spare you guys any more stripes for now!
The Blackie blade was too thin and short for it's intended scales, so shortening at the pivot and sanding down the wedge was necessary. Needed a good fit!
They turned out pretty good!
I have not honed the Geneva yet, but the Blackie shaves amazingly!Last edited by sharptonn; 12-06-2014 at 09:12 PM.
