    Thank you Bruno for sharing your wonderful journey. You have revived a kantana and a piece of history that would otherwise probably be gathering dust and not being loved.

    Remind me to hide my stash of old Japanese tamahagane if I even invite you to my place Awesome razor! A trick I found to get a better view of the hamon is to use a flatbed scanner instead of a camera.

    One sample from the stash (16th century, torii-zori, chu-kissaki, ubu nakago, shinobi ana, mumei):

    My sword was not mumei, but I couldn't figure out the kanji. I'll see if I can get a decent pic.
    For those who don't know, mumei means anonymous, unsigned (lit. no name).
