I finally finished a NWG build and just used some (ferric chloride) on my first knife I've ever made (out of O1) and it turned more of a light gray. Just curious. Maybe a longer soak period? I only went for around 30 minutes or so.

I haven't found it to be, it will be susceptible at the pivot and the washers but so are the polished razors.

Nice one, I've acid blackwashed a couple of my knives but never though about doing it to a razor. It looks spot on with the carbon fibre scales.

Brian I've only had this razor in my hands for a month and I can't tell you how happy I am with it. It's all materials I truly have a passion for wrapped up into one killer looking blacked out custom razor. Thank you again Sir
