A Nice "German": Krusius Bros. 11/16 Satin Finish
Since it's a new year, and I haven't posted any recent finished razors lately, I decided that since I love to work on Sheffield's that it would be a nice change of pace for me to start this year restoring some nice German and American blades from my collection. Maybe even shave with them once in a while...
This is a real nice shaving German blade that I just finished. It's an 11/16 hollow ground Krusius Brothers KB Extra. Original scales but I opted for a softer finish rather than a mirror shine. These are really nice blades, great German steel, and they take a great edge...
Hope you like it...
But just so you know...this trend ain't gonna last too long! I'm a dyed in the wool Sheffield lover, and I'm currently working on a real beauty...an old Sheffield made for the military circa 1850's-1860's. It's from a real good friend...and I can't wait to finish it!Last edited by Wolfpack34; 01-11-2015 at 09:42 PM.
