The last predator from this nest, 8/8 in toxic green and black
Today I put scales on the last predator from the next that hatched the ones I made so far. This one is 8/8. I made 3 that are close to identical, only the configuration of the notches is different. This one has one notch more on the underside of the tang. And without scales, it looks pretty wicked. I didn't realize until today (with the scales on) that the 2 little notches on the underside would show as one.
The reason I made a couple of them was that I really wanted to play with this concept because it has a lot of potential in terms of what type of razor I like to make. This way I could try some variations.
I chose toxic green and black because a blade like this should show some color imo. As you can see, the scales around the pivot hide the fact that three are 2 smaller notches instead of 1 larger one. Still, I think it went well.
Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Not my cup of tea, but obviously nicely done. Of the three I like the first one, the one without scales, the best.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Very sweet blade design, I like the kirinite. Making multiple things the same is a skill in its self.

Nice design, I liked the circular concavity(finger rest) at the spine.

Wow! Very nice, Bruno. That Kirinite is gorgeous. Well done!
If I can afford it, I buy the best that I can. If I can't afford, I make it. If I can't make it... I do without!
