I hope not. One of the things I like about the razor world is that we don't have the concept of safe queens. I can make a 1000$ razor, and I am sure that it will be used for what it is meant. Nothing is sadder than a high quality knife in a shadow box. It has one purpose in life, and it is not allowed to fulfill it. Might as well not have been made.

So all you can do is make a razor that functions as intended and the rest is up to the owner. I agree with you completely about razors, knives and other cutting instruments. I just shake my head at some of the "art knives" that are so non-functional that the maker does not even bother to heat treat the blade, even ones that I find to be interesting and attractive pieces of "metal sculpture" at some level.
