    Platinum would actualy be a PITA to peen,is very hard and brittle.

    Yep...Good eye Tom! The profile of the blade with that spine 'drop-off' to the tail is very cool. Definitely made prior to the company's sale and move to New Bedford, Mass. Great shavers!
