    Default Spanish Boxer Custom razor

G'day gents just wanted to show my newest razor and a real step up in size for me.
This one is made by Boxer Custom Razors right here in Australia.
Stu (Srt8razor) is also a member here in SRP and was also closely involved in the design phase of this razor.
Can't wait to road test this one first thing in the morning.

It is a custom 9/8:Smiling Spanish point in Carbon and Blue G10 scales with polished aluminium wedge.

Here is a pic for all to share.

Very nice, the heel is interesting, from that I assume it is a fairly wedgy grind?

Thanks Ed, the grind is a near wedge.
The shave this morning was very satisfactory, the blade cut through my 3 day growth with ease. It certainly was a new experience wielding a blade if that width and weight. After a couple of changes in angles due to the size of the razor all went well - with the exception of a little love bite (nick) from the tip of the smiling blade.
After shave stropping was another change of method again due to the blade shape, eventually settled on stropping with the toe end closet to me and moving the blade from toe to heel as I moved along the strop, then repeat the stroke for the return back to me (almost a quarter moon shape to the stroke). This rhythm seemed to work well enough with the size of the blade with n o damage to it or the strop.

I look forward to many future shaves with this razor.

I have a large smiler, windscreen wiper type strokes seem to work (sounds like what you are describing I think). The bigger blades are fun but take a bit of planning to shave with
