    I used a belt sander with small radius work wheel to clean up and restore the sides but kept above 400 grit for all the work as I learned from a restorer friend of mine. The rest was on a buffer with greaseless compounds.
    First shave was a treat. I felt inspired to film my very first shave vid figuring if I cut myself, this post would not come into being, hehe.

    All told, I like the feel and smile of this razor a lot. Happy I was able to bring it back into being for another hundred and a half years maybe.
