Thread: 7/8 WB Repaired, then rescaled - I think it's done...

This fix 'er up razor has been an ongoing project razor for me.
The original scales were cracked when I got the razor and I was able to repair them somewhat...





A few weeks later the repair failed the durability testing in the shave den, so a new set of G10 scales came to be.









I really like this scale material and feel that this repair will hold for a good length of time. Now I need to decide if I can get along with the full hollow. So far I'm still favoring my near wedge and 1/4 hollows.

I love what you've done here. fine work. I don't know about you but I dearly love my wedges and near wedges. The way they shave is awesome but then again the full hollow grind do a good job as long as I remember my angle and as long as it's honed up good. The spikes I really have to pay attention to. My old hand and wrist sometimes don't bend and move like they should and before I know it it's time for the septic stick.
