    8/8 razor . This one is really sharp . Used Boiled Vinegar to etch it . I must say I like this hobby . Name:  New Straight Razor.jpg

    nice job, the grinding looks very clean
    what is the materials & process you used?
    I like the raspy looking tang

    01 tool steel. Tale was a separate piece welded on then tapered. Rough and finish grinding mostly on a harbor freight belt grinder sander. Mark center line before grinding g. Lots of patience

    Yup. Did my neck with it tonight. Smooth. No pressure needed just the weight of the razor

    Is the tang 0-1 also. I'm assuming you TIG welded it. What did you use for filler? I have an 0-1 blade forging that I broke the tang on.

    I think the heat was hot enough to bond the 2 pieces

    Looks good. I like it. Looks like people with big fingers would need something a little larger to hold on to though?
