    Default Old razor, modern scales

    Hi,

This time I tried to combine a hundred years old str8 with an ultramodern material used for scales.
The old Bengall, wedge type 11/16 has been married with soft, nice to touch blue acrylic scales.
Nickel silver pins and washers, ivory wedge.

You cleaned up that Bengall so nice that it looks very clean with the new scales. Nice work!
May your lather be moist and slick, the sweep of your razor sure, and your edge always keen!

Blue acrylic is an eye catcher. Good call, looks real nice.

I have to say this is not my style. That being said I think it looks fantastic.Normally I am very traditional and would never consider doing this but this razor looks great. Great Job!

I tried quite hard, but the soft acrylic did not forgive much.
Al the same, in reality it looks better than on the pictures.
