Jeness, What you describe as nothing really special makes me smile. In many fields, there is 'special' for being unconventional, outrageous, innovative etc. Particularly in the explicit (fine) arts, there is a much more enduring impression made by doing a beautiful execution of basic forms. 10 or 100 yrs from now, the well executed basics are still admired and appreciated. The various forays into the unconventional are long forgotten.
Bravo on exquisite execution of basic beauty.

    Thanks!

Truth is that the trends nowadays aren't too much in my favor. I like woods the most, with fairly conventional/traditional forms, of course I try to make them a bit different than the really classical styles, to add my own style. But the majority of people are head over heels for carbon fiber, G10, micarta, acrilics, etc, and for really exotic blade/scale shapes. Of course I try to adapt a bit to please both myself, and as many people who like my work. Sometimes it is really difficult to strike a good balance here

I think it is stunning and simplistic all at the same time, which is what it is all about to me. Your market is alive and well going by the comments here.

I very much favor your approach to making razors.

    Very well done.
