Unknown Maker. Lancet Steel. New scales.
Hi.
Some time ago i have restored this unusual razor.
Unfortunately original, horn scales cracked at pivot point. I had to make a set of new ones. I decided to use corian this time. Very nice material for scales and completely waterproof. I've added horn & aluminium wedge.

I like what you did with the wedge. The etching is really neat, too.

Nice catch!
Those blades with the fuller ( groove ) were made by many big name sellers, W&B and Torrey for two. They often had such etches as Old English, Superior, Finest, etc. Lancet Steel is probably from and English Manufacturer.
The shaving qualities of the ones I have tried are terrific but honing takes care to get it right with the narrow blade width.
Enjoy!

Wow! That Corian looks like ivory! Nice work. So there seems a bit of the tang stamp left. How about a close-up picture?
Someone may figure out the maker."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
