Thanked: 2284Geo. Wostenholm Doubley Carbonized I-XL
This is a razor I had seen a while back and really fell in love with it. The etching along the top spin, the unique frameback, and the stub tail, were all things that caught my eye. I had to have one. This one is a full 15/16, had perfect patina and was in great shape except for rust on the front and back of the tang. All in all it was really an easy clean up. I saved the scales and lead wedge and repinned in double stacked brass washers. The only thing I did to the blade was rubbed it down with oil and steel wool to remove the rust. Other than that the blade was untouched to preserve that wonderful Patina. I hope to get it honed tonight and a shave tomorrow. Can't wait!! Here it is, thanks for checking it out gentleman!
Here's a before shot
