Antelope Diamond Steel
I have been looking for one of these almost since I have started shaving with a straight. I find that I am partial to shoulderless grinds and french points and this one has both. Every time I found one is was more than I was willing to pay and if it was in my price range is was heavily used so when I seen this one I had to get it. Unfortunately I have found that I don't like alot of thumb notches especially when they make the tang really narrow and seem to make stropping awkward for me. I didn't think about this one since I have wanted one for quite awhile and acted first and questioned later. I'm hoping I will grow to like this one. Anyway it is a just under 5/8 Antelope Diamond Steel with ebony scales and cerrobend wedge. It didn't really need new scales, but I wanted to dress it up with something different than the original ones. I reused some washers from another razor that I saved. I think this is the fastest that I rescaled a razor so far since I was too excited to finally find one and didn't want to wait. There are some scratches and small spots, but I didn't want to do much to this razor since I was planning on putting it in my rotation. I am really hoping I grow to like the thumb notch on this one.

Thanked: 1184Looks like a real nice shaver. You'll get used to working around the thumb notch I am sure. There is always a way around obstacles .
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
